Exploring Collage During the Pandemic
This project started as an exploration phase into digital collage. Each piece features a moment of introspection in which the inner vision behind closed eyes is projected outward.
For each composition, I used photographic elements and drawings with phosphorescent shapes symbolizing the "light" shining within.
In the piece above, I use a real photo of me during my pregnancy. During that time, the war broke out in Ukraine, and it revived my desire to return to the place where I was born: Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine.
